Overview

The Video Player by bPlugins app provides Shopify store owners with an easy way to embed and manage video content on product pages, blogs, or custom pages. With our app, you can enhance your store’s user experience by adding product demonstration videos, customer reviews, tutorials, and much more. 

Installation

Follow the steps below to install and configure the Video Player app:

1. Visit the Video Player app page on Shopify.
2. Click “Add app” to install it on your store.
3. Once installed, navigate to the app settings in your Shopify admin panel.
4. Follow the setup instructions to configure the app on your product pages, blogs, or custom pages.

After Install first step

The Video Player by bPlugins app after install your first step is enable the “Video Player by bPlugins” app embed.

Step One

Enable the “Video Player by bPlugins” app in your shop settings and save.

Add new video

Step-by-step guide to uploading YouTube, Vimeo, or MP4 videos to Shopify or embedding self-hosted videos using only a URL. 

Step one

Click on “Add Video” and select / upload a Video

Step two

Click the marked point to select or upload a video.

Step three

Affter upload the video click on “Insert selected” and go to the next step

After uploading the video, click “Insert selected” to proceed to the next step.

Step four

Paste a YouTube or Vimeo URL and click “Add New Video” to continue. 

Step Five

If all information is updated, click “Insert Video.”

You can update the video title, source, poster, and control settings, as well as the brand color, size, and alignment.

You can display or hide all video controls and options.

Step four

1. You can customize the video controls’ colors to match your website’s theme by selecting the brand color. 
2. You can set your video width using %, PX, or EM. 
3. You can align the video to the left, center, or right by adjusting the “video alignment”. 
4. You can adjust the video border radius using “round corner.” 

Step five

1. Click “Copy Embed code” to copy the embed code.

You can embed this video on any custom page using the video embed code, allowing it to be displayed anywhere. 

Step one

1. Click “Add Page” to create a new page for previewing the video player. 

Step two

1. Click the “One” marked button. 
2. Paste the copied embed code.
3. Save all changes. 

Step three

1. Click “View” to preview the player.

Display the video anywhere on any page using a Shopify app extension. 

Step one

1. Click “Copy ID” to copy the Video ID. 

Step two

1. Click “Themes” to access all theme options. 
2. Click “Customize” to open theme Customize options.

Step there

1. Click “Add block” to insert a block. 
2. Click “Apps” to select my app block. 
3. Please select my app block “Video Embed: Single Video”

Step four

1. Paste your copied Video ID into the “Video Id” input field. 
2. Click “Save” to update all changes. 
3. Click the three dots to view options. 
4. Click “View” to see the preview.

Use the Shopify “Product Video” app extension to showcase unique videos for different products on your product page. 

Step one

1. Click “Add block” to insert a block. 
2. Click “Apps” to select my app block. 
3. Please select my app block “Product Video” from Video Player by bPlugins.

Step two

1. Click “Video” dynamic source and select Product Video. 

Step three

1. Click “Video Poster” dynamic source and select Product Video Poster. 

Step four

1. Click “Products” to access the product list, select a product, and navigate to its edit page. 
2. Click “Product Video” to upload your video or enter a YouTube/Vimeo link. 
3. Click “Product Video” to upload your video or enter a YouTube/Vimeo link.
