Getting Started
Welcome — 3D Viewer turns a plain product photo into a model your customers can spin, zoom and inspect from every angle. Upload a .glb, drop the app block into your theme, and it’s live on your storefront — no code, no theme edits. Every model carries its own background, lighting, camera, animation and AR settings, tuned in a live preview that updates as you type. New here? Start with Quick start below.
Installing 3D Viewer
- Open the 3D Viewer listing on the Shopify App Store — or use the install link you were sent.
- Click Add app.
- Sign in and choose the store you want to install it on.
- Review the permissions Shopify shows, then click Install.
- Shopify opens the app inside your admin — you’re installed.
You’ll find it any time under Apps → 3D Viewer in your Shopify admin.
Overview of the 3D Viewer menu
The app has six items in its top navigation:
